[ Shows Tifa and Marlene walk into Aeris' church. Marlene looks at the flowers and Tifa notices a bandage set ontop of a box. ]
Marlene: Does Cloud live here?
Tifa: I guess he does.
[ The two walk over to the box ]
Marlene: What's this?
[ Tifa shakes her head and Marlene picks up the bandage. ]
Marlene: It's just like Denzel. Is Cloud sick?
Tifa: Why didn't he say something?
Marlene: Did he leave because he's sick?
Tifa: He just... wants to fight alone.
Marlene: Fight?
Tifa: No. I don't think that he will.
Marlene: Tifa?
Tifa: Let's go home, Marlene.
Marlene: We can't. Cloud's not here yet!
Tifa: I know, sweetie. [ Picks up bandage ] I miss him, too.
Marlene: Yeah!
Tifa: So, say he comes back.
Marlene: We'll all go home!
Tifa: Not until he gets... a lecture.
Marlene: [ Raises hand] Uh huh!
[ Scene goes back into the Healin' lodge. There Reno and Rude lay on the ground and Kadaj walks in. ]
Kadaj: Boy, do I hate lies.
Rufus: I aplogize. This time you get the truth. The object you seek fell from the helicoptor while we were running from you. I'm afraid we were careless.
Kadaj: Is that right?
Rufus: I swear it.
Kadaj: Fine, then swear on these. [ Throws Elena and Tseng's bloody ID cards ]
Rufus: Why did you do this?
Kadaj: We need Mother's power. The reunion is coming and we need her.
Rufus: Reunion...
Kadaj: My brother's and sister's who all share Mother's cells will all asemble, and together we'll take revenge on the planet! We already sent out the invitations, but... [small laugh] you know, someone's gone and hidden the guest of honor.
Rufus: Invitations?
Kadaj: The stigma. But you know all about that, Sir. Mother's legacy lives on in the Lifestream and makes it happen. She does... so much for us, and we... we don't even know where to find her! But what can we do? We're just remnants. Really, remnants of Mother's legacy. Until we find Mother and recieve cells, we can't be whole again. Geostigma and a legacy aren't enough for a true reunion.
Rufus: What do you mean?
Kadaj: But Sir, surely you've noticed.
[ Kadaj gets on his knees in front of Rufus and lowers head. When he raises his head Rufus sees Sephiroth. The scene then changes to Cloud replacing the Buster Sword that Kadaj had kicked down earlier. ]
Cloud: I said I'd live out both our lives. Easy to make that promise.
[ Flashes to memory - Zack ]
Zack: So you wanna be in SOLDIER? Hang in there. [ Different memory ]Hey... You doin' okay? [ Another ] So, Cloud, what are you gonna do once you get to Midgar. [ Another ] We're friends, right? [ And another! ] Cloud!!
[ Cloud keeps remembering thing and the Geostigma gets to him. He then falls to his knees. ]
[ A new scene starts back in the church. The doors open and Loz appears ]
Loz: Wanna play? [ Silence ] I guess that's a no. Where's Mother? Huh?!
[ Loz sees the flowers and feels disgusted ]
Loz: Gross. Hey, where's Mother?
Tifa: There's no one here.
Loz: Fine. Play with me.
[ Tifa gets in battle stance ]
Loz: This will be fun!
[ The two of them fit, where eventually Tifa ends up throwing Loz into a group of benches. Marlene goes to greet Tifa at the end, but they come to a stop when the Final Fantasy VII victory fanfare begins to play. When it does, Loz gets up, and it ends up being his ringtone for the cellphone he owns. ]
Loz: She's not here. I'm not crying! [ His eyes are red ] No, I got it. I'll bring the girl. [ Puts away phone ] Where were we?
[ Loz attacks Tifa and pens injures her, ultimately throwing her in the bed of flowers. Just when he is about to kill her, Marlene throws Materia at Loz's head. Loz then approached Marlene ]
Marlene: Cloud...
Tifa: Just run!!
[ The scene flashes to Denzel outside of a building, gasping. A little girl with a moogle plushie then approaches Denzel ]
[She grabs Denzel's arm and leads him to a truck with other kids that Yazoo is gathering. The scene then shifts to Cloud walking into the church. He sees Tifa in the flowers and runs to her, embracing her... sorta ]
Cloud: Tifa. Tifa!
Tifa: You're late.
Cloud: Who did this?
Tifa: He didn't say. [ Jumps up ] Marlene! [ Holds head and falls back into Cloud's arms ]
Cloud: Damn!
[ The sigma then starts to bother Cloud once again. Jenova cells drop from his hands then he passes out right next to Tifa. He then awakens back at the 7th Heaven in a room with Tifa. He gets up off the bed and looks at her, when he notices Reno and Rude in there with them ]
