[ Cloud gets off his bike and draws his sword. He looks up at Kadaj who is standing on a cliff of sorts. ]
Kadaj: Brother, I'm with her at last!
Cloud: So what's gonna happen now?
Kadaj: Mother's going to tell me.
Cloud: I guess a remnant wouldn't really know.
Kadaj: So what if I'm a puppet? [ Hand begins to glow ] Once upon a time... YOU WERE, TOO!!
[ Kadaj throws some magic at Cloud, then the two start fighting. After a while, the Sierra shows up behind Cloud. It then shows a short from inside. ]
Yuffie: Cloud, I brought you materia. ... WHOA! [ Ship moves and Yuffie trips a bit ] Watch it!
Barret: Yo Cid, land this jump heap.
Cid: Shut up! You want off, you jump!
Vincent: Let Cloud fight his own battle. Kadaj is a remnant of Sephiroth. Think of him as a sort of Larva form.
Yuffie: Larva?! You mean he's an insect?!
Cait Sith: Lassie, shut your boot
Cid: So the punk's gonna become Sephiroth?
Tifa: Vincent, does Cloud know about Kadaj?
Vincent: One would think.
Tifa: Then you're right. It's his fight now.
Yuffie: What? I don't get it. Why can't we help out?
Cid: This is man talk.
Yuffie: ... Sexist. SEXIST!
Cait Sith: I told you, lass, shut your boot.
Barret: Some men don't get it, either.
Tifa: Two years ago... Think of the strength we all had when we fought that last battle. It's only been a couple years, but already that feeling is gone. But Cloud... I think he's found it again.
Barret: He's got ten minutes.
Yuffie: That Cloud's a royal pain in the ass... like always.
Tifa: Cloud is Cloud.
[ Goes back to both Kadaj and Cloud fighting against each other. Cloud eventually flings Kadaj across the area, and he lands with only one hand hanging onto a building. Cloud goes and stands in front of him. Kadaj eventually throws the box and Cloud slashes it in half. Kadaj jumps after it and grabs half. ]
Kadaj: My reunion. Bet you're dying to watch.
[ Cloud jumps after Kadaj and Kadaj absorbs the cells from the Box. Cloud meets up with Kadaj at the end, but as Cloud gets ready to slice, Kadaj transforms into Sephiroth, and Sephiroth stops Cloud's sword. ]
Sephiroth: Good to see you... Cloud.
[ Sephiroth slices at Cloud a couple of times and he jumps back.
Sephiroth: Your Geostigma is gone? That's too bad.
Cloud: Sephiroth. What do you want?
Sephiroth: The last thoughts of Geostigma's dead. Those remnants will join the lifestream and girdle the planet, choking it, corroding it. What I want, Cloud... is to sail the darkness of the cosmos with this planet as my vessel, just as my mother did long ago.
[ Sephiroth raises his hand and the sky turns black. ]
Sephiroth: Then one day we'll find a new planet and on its soil we'll create a shining future.
Cloud: What about this planet?
Sephiroth: Well, that's up to you, Cloud.
[ Sephiroth lunges at Cloud and the epic battle begins! Shows scenes of the people watching the sky go black. Then shows a droplet then Marlene ]
Marlene: Is it her?!
[ Scenes flash of Aeris and her church and then it goes back to Cloud and Sephiroth fighting. They fight inside a building for a bit. ]
Sephiroth: Oh, where did you find this strength?
Cloud: Not about to tell you.
[ And the fighting resumes. They then go back outside and fight ontop of the buildings again. ]
Sephiroth: I've thought of a wonderful present for you. [ Fighting ] Shall I give you despair?
[ The fight for a few seconds, then Sephiroth goes on before him ]
Sephiroth: On your knees. I want you to beg for forgiveness.
[ Sephiroth makes the top of a building collapse and fall over onto Cloud, but Cloud cuts through it all and meets with Sephiroth. The two start fighting again afterwards. Eventually Cloud jumps on a ledge and gets pinned to the wall by Sephiroth's sword in his shoulder. ]
Sephiroth: Tell me what you cherish most. Give me the pleasure of taking it away.
[ Cloud remembers the things he cares about. Zack, Aeris, Marlene, Denzel, and his friends. He then pulls the sword out of his shoulder. ]
Cloud: I pity you. You just don't get it at all.
[ And then they resume their fight! ]
Cloud: There's not a thing I don't cherish!
[ Cloud then opens up a can of whoopass, AKA unleashes a powerful limit break on Sephiroth. Cloud defeats the silver-haired man and stands upon a building again. ]
Cloud: Stay where you belong - in my memories.
Sephiroth: [ In the air ] I will... never be a memory.
[ Turns back into Kadaj. Falls down near Cloud and Cloud holds him in his arms as he is dying. ]
Kadaj: Brother...
Aeris' Voice: Kadaj?
[ Aeris releases her Great Gospel limit break. ]
Aeris' Voice: You don't have to hang on any longer.
Kadaj: Mother... is that you?
Aeris' Voice: Everyone's waiting if you're ready.
[ Kadaj raises his arm up and dissappears. It then shows scenes of the kids that are on the streets getting healed by the rain. Afterwards, it goes to a scene where are the Turks surrounded Rufus. His Geostigma heals, too. The scene then goes to the airship ]
Yuffie: Oh, yeah! We rock!
Barret: See, what did I tell you fools?
Cait Sith: That's my boy, Cloud!
Tifa: A little push is all he needs, that's all!
Cid: How calm down. Hang on to your britches.
[ Tifa looks up and sees Aeris' limit break ]
Tifa: Somehow, I knew you were there. Thank you.
[ Shows Cloud again. Everything is peaceful, but when least expected, a gunshot hits Cloud and he falls down. The screen then shows Yazoo and Loz fused with Materia. ]
Yazoo: We'll go... together.
Loz: Together... we'll play...
[ Cloud gets angry and jumps up, running over to him. He attacks them, but as he slices down, the building he is at explodes. Shows everyone in the airship. ]
Tifa: Cloud!
[ Then shows Denzel and Marlene, hand-in-hand, watching what is going on. ]
Denzel: He'll come back. He said that he would.
[ The screen then goes to white. Shows Cloud floating with his eyes shut. Aeris then puts her hand on his forehead. ]
Cloud: Mother?
Aeris: Again? Why is everyone calling me their Mother lately?
Zack: I guess they must be fond of you.
Aeris: This one's a little too big to adopt.
Zack: Tough Luck, friend. Sounds like you don't have a place here.
[ The wolf appears once last time then fades away. Cloud then appears awake in the church with all his friends and children surrounding him. ]
Girl: It's like she said: Wait here and Cloud will come back.
Marlene: Welcome back.
Cloud: I'm back.
Red XIII: There are still children with the stigma.
Cloud: Yeah.
[ Cloud starts walking towards Denzel ]
Tifa: Hey, let's get you fixed up.
[ Cloud reaches out to Denzel ]
Cloud: Come on, I'm here.
Tifa: It's okay.
[ Denzel goes with Cloud and Cloud puts the water over Denzel's head, and then he is healed. He smiles. Everyone then cheers. ]
Cid: The last one in is a rotten egg!
Yuffie: It's working!
[ All the kids then jump in and surround Cloud. Tifa smiles at Cloud. Cloud then looks around and spots Aeris talking to a couple of children. He watches her walk back to the doorway, where Zack stands waiting for her. She turns her head and looks at him. ]
Aeris: You see? Everything's alright.
[ The two walk out and Zack gives a small wave to Cloud. Cloud smiles. ]
