Amarant uses the special set of skills known as "Monk's Flair" which can be learned from various weapons and accessories throughout the course of the game. The skillset allows him to damage an enemy using gil and to even restore the HP and MP of a party member! Below is a list of his skills and what exactly each does.

| Spare Change | Cause damage by throwing gil | 0 |
| No Mercy | Causes non-elemental damage to an enemy | 12 |
| Aura | Casts Auto-Life and Regen on a party member | 12 |
| Curse | Enemy weakens to some elementals | 12 |
| Revive | Recovers character from KO | 20 |
| Demi Shock | Reduces HP of enemy by a certain percentage | 20 |
| Countdown | Casts Doom on an enemy | 16 |
