There are a couple benifits from obtaining all ten crimson spheres which are located in the game. The first one is you'll be able to learn more information about the pasts of Paine, Gippal, Baralai, and Nooj. The second is that if you collect all ten of the spheres, you'll be able to explore the Den of Woe. It is completely optional to do so, but below is a list of the locations of all the Crimson Spheres if you are interested in obtaining them all.
Crimson Sphere 1 You'll get this one after one of the cutscenes in Bevelle during Chapter 3 of the game.
Crimson Sphere 2 You'll get this one automatically from Gippal and Nooj sometime during Chapter 3 of the game.
Crimson Sphere 3 Yet again, you'll recieve this one automatically from Gippal and Nooj at the same time you review Crimson Sphere 2.
Crimson Sphere 4 This one can be obtained from a treasure chest located in Chateau Leblanc during either Chapter 3 or 5 of the game.
Crimson Sphere 5 This one is recieved from Leblanc in the Celsius' engine room sometime during Chapter 4 of the game.
Crimson Sphere 6 This can be obtained by entering the Via Infinito dungeon which is located in Bevelle during Chapter 5 of the game.
Crimson Sphere 7 This one is recieved once you talk to Nooj at the Den of Woe during Chapter 2 of the game.
Crimson Sphere 8 This one is obtained by defeating the boss on level 20 of the Via Infinito during Chapter 5.
Crimson Sphere 9 This one is obtained by eliminating all the fiends at the Mushroom Rock Road in Chapter 1 of the game.
Crimson Sphere 10 You'll get this at the Chateau Leblanc sometime during Chapter 2 of the game.
