Final Fantasy X-2 contains a special system for jobs. This system involves the use of spheres to change into a certain class
enabling the use of various special abilities and attacks. Dress Spheres can be found throughout Spira by completing various
tasks, often given as a reward for finishing a certain mission.
Of course, there are certain things you must know when using a dressphere. Characters will only be able to use a
dress sphere if it is on their equipped Garment Grid. The garment grid is basically just a small board with places to insert
dress spheres. Every dress sphere that you insert on the Garment Grid will be usable by the girls if they have that garment grid
equipped. There is a whole lot more to know about these grids, but make sure to visit their section in order to learn.
In order to learn abilities on any given dressphere, you must have your character use them in battle. When in battle each character will gain AP which goes towards learning abilities. You are able to set which ability you wish to learn by going to the abilities page in the main menu and selecting the dressphere that is currently equipped to your character.
Along with the many different class dress spheres, there are also special dresspheres. The special dress spheres are
unique to each girl, having their own attacks and skills. In order to use a special dressphere, every dress on the equipped
garment grid must be used ONCE in battle. Once all of them have been activated by changing into them, make sure to press the
R1 button to get the option to change into the special dress.
Special dresspheres can be found by various missions. Yuna and Rikku's will be found automatically in the story while
you have to do a certain something extra to get Paine's.
