This game contains a fun sidequests which can be most compared to the Man Festival which was present in Shadow Hearts Covenant. Though, it's not nearly as amusing or fun as the Man Festival, it still provides a great deal of amusement.
After the characters step into the final dungeon, they'll be able to had back down to Rio de Janeiro. When they enter, they'll notice a silver bat laying outside of a sushi shop. Hilda immediatly recognizes this bat - it is none other than Keith Valentine, one of the playable characters in Shadow Hearts. It looks like Keith has ate way too much in the shop, and has a bad stomach ache. What is a sister to do besides storm into the place and demand a cup of green tea?! And that's what Hilda does! She runs in there. However, it looks like the Sushi shop has been transformed into some sort of weird trial, and in order to get the green tea for her brother, Hilda must complete all the trials!
Also, you'll need to obtain all of the Weekly Arts magazines for this sidequest to open.
First 3 - Cucumber Rolls, Tekka Rolls, and Natto Rolls These are pretty easy battles concidering you'll be able to use three characters in battle. I recommend Johnny, Shania, and Hilda for these. It's nothing too messy, but if you are low level, it could get difficult. After the first string of battles, I recommend using arc shield to protect against the rolls high attacks strength.
4 - Delux Shrimp Sushi In this battle, only Slim Hilda is usable. It's a pretty easy battle, so it shouldn't take too much of an effort to get through it.
5 - Eel Sushi In this battle, it will be Curvy Hilda only. All you'll really need to do is use her Grand Slam skill once in order to get through the battle.
6 - Organic Salmon Sushi Before this battle, there will be a portal that can take the characters back outside of the shop. You should really do so so you can save your game. Afterwards, go back in. Natan will be the only one who can take on this guy. Have him equipped with an accessory that prevents instant death.
7 - Octopus Sushi Shania will be the one going through this battle. Have her fuse into her earth fusion and use arc rage. This should be easy from there on.
8 - Giant Rice Ball Ricardo will be taking on this battle. The thing about this one is, since it uses gale and can slow down your speed 66%, this battle can be very difficult. In the ring customization menu, make sure Ricardo's ring is equipped with something which will slow down a target when he attacks, preferably slow 3. This will allow him to null the Rice Ball's gale effects as well as slowing it down just a tad bit. With this, it will be an easy battle.
9 - Pickled Ginger Sushi Frank will go through this battle. Make sure he has an accessory equipped which prevents ring status ailments. Also, it might be a good idea to have his ring equipped with a poison status.
10 - Stately Fatty Tuna Sushi Mao will decide she's the one for this battle. Might be a good idea to cast shield if you have it. Have her equipped with a poison accessory on her ring as well. Just use cat touch and you can even defend if things get rough. The poison will end up killing this guy off, anyway, if it is equipped.
11 - Egg Roll (Children's Plate) Johnny finally gets into thing! The Egg Roll does have pretty high attack, so you might want to use a shield stellar. Also, have him use his release ability to attack the Egg Roll. Since his attack is fairly high in awakener, the battle should be over quickly.
12 - Q the Great Wait? What?! Who does Hilda have to face against? Her own brother?! Why would he set up the weird thing in the Sushi shop? Well, anyway, you'll be given three options before the battle begins. The first one will result in her using cury hilda, second the pink bat, and the third will be slim Hilda. I wouldn't use the pink bat if I were you, but either curvy or slim would work out alright. They'll also be wearing their masks for maximum power. The problem in the battle, however, is that Joachim uses grand slam, so the battle could easily be over in seconds. But, just use your own judgement/defend, and the battle should be over in no time.
For winning, Hilda will finally get the green tea she seeks for Keith. Also, Joachim will hand over his mask and Hilda will now have a new one. Keith, after drinking the tea, will also become the final lottery member. If you play him, and strike on red, you'll get Hilda's ultimate armor.
